The Chronovisor was invented by the Vatican priest Father Pellegrino Ernetti 1925-1994.
The principle of the Chronovisor is more or less the same as that of the Chronoscope, as the inventor described it, sights and sounds of the past will never disappear, they will float around forever.
There is no scientific theory that will prove the principle of the Chronovisor like the Chronoscope, and I have not been able to find
more detail about a theory that would back it up.
Despite that I have been able to recover and reconstruct 2 beautiful examples which apparently could work.
The only thing I can tell you is that they seem to do something although I have no solid proof as yet.
Father Pellegrino Ernetti has created quite a number of Chronovisors which were exclusively distributed among high ranked officials within the Roman Catholic Church.
Just like the Chronoscope, the Chronovisor is not a time machine, it is a time viewer and likewise it is only possible to look into the past.
Just like Frank Oppenheimer, Father Pellegrino Ernetti was working on a improved version of the Chronovisor, fully funded by the Roman Catholic Church, that would allow to look into the future.
His sudden death in 1994 has stopped all the work into that direction, because of his vital knowledge it is expected that Father Pellegrino Ernetti's invention will not be further developed.
