The Long Distance Weapon.

The Long Distance Weapon was invented by Nikola Tesla  1856 -

The Long Distance Weapon is basically an intelligent handheld RPG (rocket propelled grenade) launcher and was invented by Nikola Tesla in 1914.

It has a tremendous range of 10 (sea)miles and it is light, very easy to operate and very precise.

All one has to do is to load the grenade, set the distance to the target (more or less), push the trigger and track the target with the telescope of the launcher.

The grenade will follow the path indicated by the launcher and will explode automatically when in range of the target.

The launcher has biometric safety control so it can only be handled by the original operator and is completely useless when the enemy gets hold of it.

At request of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria it was put into production in 1915 in an attempt to end the Great War.

The production of the Long Distance Weapon and the grenades was done in secret in the United States (the United States were neutral).

After that the weapons were secretly shipped to Triest from where the were transported to the war front.

The next year, the 16th of July 1916 the war was ended with the victory

of the Central Powers (Austria-Hungary and Germany) over the Allied powers (France, Great Brittain and Russia).
